Biking at The Home of the MS-150

The hills are alive in La Grange and waiting for you to
experience twelve mapped bike routes. Whether you are
practicing for your next ride or simply want to enjoy the
fresh air of Fayette County, you will find that La Grange has
the distance you are looking for. With scenic routes ranging
from 18.5 miles to 60 miles, we have you covered. For those
in it for the long haul, we invite you to combine multiple
routes and stay awhile.
The La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to stop by
for visitor information 24 hours, 7 days a week at our
outdoor, touch-screen kiosk located at 171 South Main in La
Grange. Visitors will find information on tourist attractions
such as The Jersey Barnyard, Monument Hill and the Kreische
Brewery, the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center, the
newly renovated historic Fayette County Courthouse, the
Fayette Old Jail Museum, the Faison Home and the Fayette
County Museum and Library. La Grange is an experience
you won’t want to miss…Czech us out, you will be glad you did.
Practice at the home of MS-150—grind
the gears and practice the hills! MS-150 warm up in Hometown, Texas—La
Grange.
Design your own route as long or as short as you’d like.
Parking available at the north side of 127 N. Washington—also
Fayette County Fairgrounds at 250 West Fairgrounds.

Get Your
Guts in Gear in Texas!
Experience
the winding back roads of Central Texas as never before from
March 23-25, 2007! Beginning in historic LaGrange and ending
near Austin, the route will wind through a variety of
landscapes including the Lost Pines, farm and ranchland, the
Guadalupe River, and the Hill Country during wildflower
season.

Get Your Guts in Gear (“GYGIG”) strives to provide an
empowering experience of accomplishing a physical challenge
within a caring Ride Community. We’re ready to support you
100%!
GYGIG is an
independent charity that is raising awareness and funds for
the fight against Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and for
the needs of people living with ostomies. GYGIG is now
entering its fourth year of working with like-minded charities
for this cause.
In addition
to the Texas Ride, GYGIG also produces rides in New York’s
Hudson River Valley (June) and the Pacific Northwest (August).
Ride,
Crew, or Volunteer!
There is an
$85 registration fee for riders and crew, and riders must
raise at least $1,900 to participate. All participants must
be at least 18 to ride or crew; exceptions may be made for
those ages 16-18 if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
GYGIG also needs help from day volunteers. For more
