Internet. Linking to your homepage and/or e-mail are
provided. Advertising opportunities are available.
Membership Directory
All Chamber members receive two listings (alphabetical &
categorical) at no charge in the annual
Business/Membership Directory, that is mailed to some 4,000
out of town businesses and residents. The award-winning directory is
designed in-house and is used as an information piece
on the area and a guide of recommended businesses.
Fayette Business Expo
The Business Expo is held each February and attracts several
thousand people. Chamber members may display their products
and services during the three-hour event. Sponsorships are
available to members and all participants receive free
publicity before and after the event.
Referrals
Members’ names and phone numbers are distributed to thousands
of people inquiring each year about goods, services, shopping
and visiting opportunities. The Chamber office is open six
days a week most months of the year to serve its membership.
Business After Hours Mixer
Chamber members may sponsor a Mixer at their place of business
on the last Tuesday of each month. The mixer is open to all
chamber members and their guests and allows businesses to
showcase their stores.
Ribbon Cuttings
New members receive a free ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by
the La Grange Chamber Ambassadors. Chamber staff members
arrange for local publicity and sending invitations to the
event.
Workshops and Seminars
The Chamber hosts workshops and seminars for small business
owners throughout the year. Subjects include customer service,
telecommunications, business planning, financing, IRS
regulations, etc.
Leadership Fayette County
Leadership training for area businesses and organizations is
offered through the Leadership Fayette County annual program
sponsored by the La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce.
Tourism
The Chamber serves as the Tourism/Visitor Information center
for the city. Businesses are referred daily concerning places
to stay, eat, and shop.
Economic and Demographic Information
The Chamber serves as a reference point for members when they
seek the latest statistical trends for business planning
purposes.
Labels
Chamber members may purchase membership labels at a reduced
rate.
Maps
The Chamber
sponsors the printing and distribution of a city/county map
every other year. This updated publication is free to chamber members
and some 6,000 are handed out and mailed annually. Advertising
space is available.
Brochures Displayed
Members may display flyers, brochures and business cards in the Chamber office.
Representation
The Chamber acts as your spokesperson, sales manager, goodwill
ambassador and business agent. We are the Business Voice of La
Grange.
