Then Santa arrives by Locomotive at the La Grange Railroad Depot Museum Intersection of North Washington and Lafayette Street-Refreshments and tours of the Museum
And you really don't want to miss the Christmas Open Haus at the Polka Lovers Club of Texas Museum, 250 W Fairgrounds Road.
with plenty of time to visit the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center Czech Christmas Open House also on Fairgrounds Road. Museum, Gift Shop, activites for the children, cooking demonstrations and Lunch
but if you're not a Polka Lover (hard to believe anyone isn't) and want to see how Christmas might have been celebrated by our immigrants take a ride up to enjoy the
Ninettenth Century Folk-Life Christmas at Winedale at the Winedale Historical Complex, 4 miles northeast of Round Top, TX at 3738 Fm 2714 (off of FM 1457)
12:00 Noon-4:00 PM
Enloy decorated historic homes, demonstrations of blacksmithing, quilting, weaving, spinning, rope-making, Pioneer encampmentand much, much more including children's activities.

and end this perfect day of holiday celebrations with
Monument Hill/ Kreische Brewery State Historic Site's Annual Trail of Lights
414 State Loop 92, La Grange (off of Hwy 77 South)
Stroll through the trail of lights, tour the Kreische House decorated with traditional ornaments and enjoy festive entertainment and refreshments. Santa has worn himself out but will still be waiting to hear your wishes for a happy Christmas.
